How to use this seven-day plan
This is a decision framework, not a promise of fixed stops. Confirm weather, berth availability, local restrictions and the skipper’s assessment every day.
Day-by-day route
- Day 1 — Capo d’Orlando: handover, inventory and a short local overnight.
- Day 2 — Vulcano or Lipari: take the short crossing only after the briefing and forecast check.
- Day 3 — Lipari: use the town for provisions and keep the evening flexible.
- Day 4 — Salina: make this the longer island day when weather is settled.
- Day 5 — Panarea or a sheltered alternative: choose exposure by the actual wind.
- Day 6 — return toward Vulcano/Lipari: reduce distance before the final return.
- Day 7 — Capo d’Orlando: refuel and hand over without a last-day sprint.

Scenario A: stable forecast
Stable forecast: continue from Lipari to Salina and, only if the crew is rested and daylight is adequate, add Panarea.
Keep the longest leg in the middle of the week, when the crew is rested and there is still time to change the return plan.
Scenario B: wind or swell
Wind or swell scenario: keep Vulcano/Lipari as the core, use marina berths or sheltered anchorages, and return one day earlier if the window closes.
A route that becomes shorter for safety is not a failed charter. It is the correct operational decision.
Return rule
Be in the base area the afternoon before formal check-out. Refuel, complete the log and leave the final morning for inspection and disembarkation.
