How to use this comparison
Choose a base from your real route, arrival airport and crew profile — not from a generic ranking. This guide compares three different starting scenarios.
Palma — best for choice, flights and services
Palma is the strongest all-round base when you need broad flight connections, provisioning, service support and a wide charter fleet. It suits Mallorca-focused routes and a first charter where logistics matter.
Choose Palma for a practical arrival and for routes that can stay on Mallorca if the forecast changes. It is not automatically the best start for Menorca or Ibiza.

Ibiza — best for nightlife and Formentera
Ibiza is a lifestyle-led base: it makes sense when the crew prioritises Ibiza, Formentera and evenings ashore. It can be less appropriate for a calm Mallorca/Menorca week because the route intent is different.
Choose it only when the island experience is the product. Confirm berth reservations early in peak weeks and keep a protected overnight alternative.
Mahón — best for a Menorca-focused week
Marina Port Mahón is in Menorca’s capital and only a few minutes from the airport, according to the marina. It works when Menorca’s protected coves and a calmer pace are the actual goal.
Choose Mahón when you want to avoid turning Menorca into a single long crossing from Mallorca. The short airport transfer is useful for a late-arriving crew.

Ask TrimTeam to compare the same boat and dates from the two most relevant bases. The answer should explain what changes in transfer, first day, route, marina costs and final return.
